Simple Origami

Origami is the art of folding papers. Although it sound a little weird some people can make amazing things with only a piece of paper and their origami skills. they can do things like this->

well i can't teach you how to do this in one post, but i can teach you a few more simple things that you can learn fast and that look very nice.

the tutorials:

1.origami box:

i recommend you to start with something easy and a box is pretty easy to do. but don't be frustrated if you experience difficulties, it takes a little time to get into it. the video:

2.origami frog:

 this is a little harder but after a while and maybe a few tries you will definitely understand it.

3.origami bird

not much harder than the frog, a nice practice. don't worry if you can't flap its wings - i couldn't make it work, but it still look nice.

A Few Tips

*if you don't have a square paper just take a regular paper and fold the shorter edge on a part of the longer edge than you will have a folded square(that looks like a triangle) so just cut the rest of the paper and unfold the paper and you will have a square paper.

*if it doesn't work in the first times don't give up just try again, if it still doesn't work leave a comment here and i will try to help you as soon as possible.

Juggle 3 Balls

I assume you all seen someone juggle 3 balls - it's pretty cool trick. Although it's look hard it's actually not that hard to learn and after a few days you will be able to juggle(maybe not very good but it will be impressive)

A few Tips

*In case you don't have juggling balls you can use more common things such as tennis balls and if you cannot get anything like this you can use a roll of toilet paper ( i will recommend you to tear rip about half of the roll to make it smaller and more comfortable, and use rubber bands  in order to shape it like a ball).

*The more you practice the better you are.

*Learn over a bed or a table so when a ball fall you don't have to start looking it on the floor.

*While you learn put some extra balls right next to you so you don't have to pick the ball off the floor every time he fall down.

Lucid Dreaming

In case you had never stumbled the term "Lucid Dreaming" here is a little explanation: a lucid dream is a dream in which you are aware of being dreaming, and after you become aware to this you can change the dream to whatever you want it to be.


There are 2 main ways to have a lucid dream:
1.To plan it and go to sleep when you intent to have a lucid dream. In this way you can decide when you will dream those dreams, however it had its cons.
2.To learn how to identify your dreams. Since you already dream at night you will learn how to know when you are dreaming and after you understand it, you can change things as you want.

1.planned lucid dream:

First get into bed, lay down on your back with your hands next to you and close your eyes. Don't move! you will have to stand still looking like you are a sleeping but stay awake. After a few minutes your buddy will start checking if you are really sleeping by sending impulses like an itch, a wanting to move or blink. You must resist those impulses in order to get into the lucid dream. after 20-30 mins you will start feeling a weigh on your chest and maybe even hear weird noises, if you will try to move you will find out you cannot because you are in a sleep paralysis(here is a little info about it from Wikipedia). If you will open your eyes you will start hallucinate. Then all you have to do is close your eyes and you will have a dream in which you are aware of it, and with little practice you can control it.

My opinion: Although where are a lot of people that will say this works, when I tried it i found myself wasting 40 mins for laying in bed - in other words this didn't worked for me.

Another con this way have is that a lot of people can really freak out when they have a sleep paralysis so this is not very recommended way.

2.Identify a dream:

For doing this you will have to slightly change your daily routine. You need to ask yourself a few times in the day: "am I dreaming right now?", and by getting use to doing it while you are awake you will start doing this when you will be in a dream and then you will understand that you are in a dream. 

2 ways to do it better:

1.Since sometimes the dream feel so real you can actually believe it is real and then the question won't help. So to get pass this, instead of asking yourself this question you can start trying to do things that you know that aren't possible doing the day. If you will try them in the dream almost always be able to do it. examples to things you can do: moving things with your mind, stretching your finger to twice it size and things like this.

 Of course you can do big things like jumping extremely high and things like that but remember you will do it few times everyday so it is better if you will chose action that doesn't involve hard work and will make you look like idiots.

2.you can start asking this question whenever you drink. Then go to sleep when you are thirsty. Because you are thirsty you will go to drink in the dream and then you will definitely won't forget to ask this question while you are in a dream.

A few Tips:

* personally i prefer the second way - but you can try them both and decide what is better for you.

Here is a cool trick to do in the next time you are in a boring class. It is a nice thing to do to pass time and impress your friends.

A Few Tips

*don't get angry if the pen fly away at the first tries... eventually you will control it.

*don't change the pen to often. The first tries may not work and you will think it because of the pen but switching pens will just make the learning process longer. Try the trick at least 10 times without improvement before you switch pen.

Here is  a cool trick for the next time you will play poker with your friends. you can easily learn how to shuffle poker chips like a poker pro and impress your friends.

*If you don't have chips you can do it with coins. The bigger and thicker the coin is - it's better.

*After you know how to shuffle 2 stacks of 3 chips you can just add another chip to each stack and you will see that it is not hard to shuffle them even then. The same with a 5th chip.

Speak Esperanto

Zamenhof in 1887. it was meant to be "everyone's second language" - that mean that everyone in the world will speak it in addition to their native language, and in that way everyone can communicate with other people all over the world. today their is about 2 million speakers in 115 different countries and you can be one of them!

it is pretty easy to find your way around the site but still here 2 steps to start the learning:

1.first go to the top right corner and change the language of the site to your language(i chose English) and press the EK button next to it.

2.Then go to the "Learning" tab and choose what you would like to learn

A Few Tips:

*I suggest you to start by learning the useful phrases in order to start to understand and get familiar with the language. After that learn a lot of new words and increase your vocabulary. After you will feel you know the base of the language go to the grammar tab and learn a little grammar. Then you can take a few exams to see that you got it under control.

*You can see that next to the "Learning" tab there is a "courses" tab, personally i have never tried to take a course but if you feel it will be more suitable for you, you can simply register to the site and take a course for free.

How To Do a Handstand

Handstand - it has absolutely no real use in life but it's still a very cool thing to do when you are bored or just want to impress your friends.

I attached a video that explain this topic pretty well, but i still have few tips i wish to give you(watch the video and then read the tips below it).

A Few Tips

*practice practice practice.

*in the video the instructor imply that you have to be in great shape in order to do handstand, however if you are skinny or just have an athletic body you can do it - at first it will be hard but after about a week of training handstands you will be able to do it.

*at the first days always practice next to a wall so you couldn't fall back. i also recommend you to put a pillow below your head so in case of falling you will not hurt your head,

How To Solve The Rubik's Cube

How To Solve The Rubik's Cube

Do you remember yourself looking at something like this ->

and thinking "how the hell can anybody solve it??" and "oh my god you have to be a genius to solve on of those". Well apperantly you don't have to be a genius or anything like this, actually a normal person can solve one of those with a tutorial in 20 mins, and to learn how to  solve one without a tutorial in a couple of days(but if you are really motivated you can learn it after a few hours). However i recommend you to give a day or two for each step before learning the next one (don't worry there are only 3 steps).

Since i haven't yet created a video tutorial i will send you to the best one i could find. It's explains everything good and uses a very popular technique .  Plus if you have any problem or you don't understand something just leave a repost and i will answer you as soon as possible.

the first one is step 1 out of 3 of solving the cube. After watching these i recommend you to do it over and over for a day or two until you can do it without using the video

after you done with the first step here is the second video.

you can see step 2 from the start of the video until 1:25 - watch these and do it a few times. this is a easy step so you don't have to repeat it alot in order to control it.

After that you can watch the rest of the video that contain step 3. After this you will know how to solve the rubik's cube!

A few Tips

*practice practice practice - you will see that the more you practice it become easier and you soing it faster.

*check your times to see your improvement - at first they supose to be around 10 mins but after a few times you can even come to 4-5 mins and after a week or two of practicing you will be able to solve it in 2-3 mins.

*when you learn write all the algorithms on a piece of paper and use it at the first times you solve the cube without the video. as time pass start hiding some algorithms and do them only by your memory.
